Nestled in the pines of Union Valley, while straddling the "old Lincoln Highway," Glenshire/Devonshire is a ten minute drive to Historic Downtown Truckee or a thirty minute drive to Reno, Nevada. Our location provides an abundance of recreational options for all seasons at nearby Donner Lake and Lake Tahoe.

Glenshire/Devonshire is a planned community for single family residential homes. It consists of 4 units with 1357 individually owned properties and 200 acres of "open space."

Amenities include a beautifully landscaped clubhouse with newly remodeled kitchen perfect for small and large gatherings, two tennis courts, half court basketball, swimming pool, wading pool, playground and lawn area all overlooking a lake.

Free Yard Waste Drop-off Event or as we like to call it “Pine Needle Day”
June 13, 2009 ~ 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Natural woody debris only: tree limbs, brush, yard trimmings, pine needles, dead leaves, dry grass. Debris should be no more than 4 feet in length and less than 4 inches in diameter. This event is offered by the town of Truckee and Tahoe Sierra Disposal.
If you can’t make this date the Association is accepting a limited amount of pine needles by appointment only. Please call to make an appointment for a time and drop off location.

Free Electronic Waste and Paper Shred Event
June 13, 2009 ~ 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM for Electronics Collection; 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM for Paper Shred. Truckee Town Hall 10183 Truckee Airport Road.
Bring all your electronics and Universal Waste (household batteries, fluorescent lamps and bulbs, empty aerosol cans and any item that contains mercury) to the back parking lot of Truckee Town Hall. This event is sponsored by Suddenlink Communications, Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal & The Town of Truckee.
The Truckee Police Department and Shred-it will be onsite accepting confidential documents from residents for FREE PAPER SHREDDING.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events
Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal (TTSD) is once again taking appointments for Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection days at the Eastern Regional Landfill (located on Cabin Creek Road off HWY 89 south). Disposing of HHW is free to residents living within the TTSD service area (Truckee, Tahoe City to Kings Beach and the West Shore). Schedule of residential collection days are FREE and by appointment on the following Saturdays will be listed starting in the Spring so be sure to check back periodically for those up and coming events. Please call (530) 583-0148 for your appointment as dates are added.

Design Review Committee
Volunteer positions are available on the Design Review Committee. The committee meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 9AM to review building applications. Call the office for more information.
